Each week, your child will bring home Rocket Words which include decodable words and tricky words that we have used in our learning of phonics. Please encourage your child to read these words to you.
Reading
Your child will bring home two books each week.
On Monday they will bring home a 'sharing book'. Please read this book together - it may contain words that your child cannot yet read independently. This book must be returned on Thursday.
On Thursday, they will bring home a 'decodable book'. We have practised reading this at school. Please encourage your child to read this book to you. This book must be returned on Monday.
